DONNA: I've been a patient at the Fertility Institute for about a year and a half now. I'm 41 years old and never really thought about my fertility or even having problems with it until, you know, I was about 40 years old and then realized that I had some trouble, and so was referred to the Fertility Institute and Dr. Lu. And from the beginning they've made me feel so welcomed.

You know, it's a hard process to go through when you feel like you've failed in some way because, you know, you can't get pregnant or you've had problems. And from the beginning they've just really opened their arms to you and make you feel, you know, almost like they are, that you're their only patient. They're very informative. They help, you know, ease any worries that you might have.

My husband and I went through four cycles of IVF and each time, you know, we could, we didn't have problems with making eggs and fertilizing eggs, but we chose to do the PGD, the pregenetic testing. And so what we found out is that because of my age I had problems with the egg quality. So we had numerous failed attempts and luckily the last one took and I'm eight weeks pregnant with twins now so we're very excited and just, you know, very happy. And so it just goes to show you that, you know, determination and just staying with it, you know, it will pay off in the end.
